The Department of Health and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center (www.cudenver.edu/clas/hbsc) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level pending budgetary approval.

We seek an individual with a Dr.P.H. or Ph.D. in any social science field whose research is in the area of "health" and involves the application of social science theory and methods to issues of social justice and health policy. Preference will be given to individuals using qualitative and/or mixed methods. The successful candidate will join a highly productive faculty in providing rigorous training in a doctoral program that applies social, behavioral, and health science perspectives in solving health problems at the population-, community-, and individual-levels. The new faculty member will also participate in teaching in an undergraduate program in Public/Community Health. The position is a 9-month appointment with a 4-course per academic year (AY) teaching load. AY salary will be offered on a basis commensurate with qualifications and experience.
